Founded in Halifax in 2023, EcoMarine is a Canadian marine technology company bringing together artificial intelligence, robotics and electric propulsion.

Our goal is to build an environmentally conscious company that delivers practical value to the ocean and waterways industries. We develop technology to help marine operators electrify their equipment, inspect underwater infrastructure and manage marine growth.
Our early underwater testing brought propulsion, mobility and cleaning together in OmniBot. That work continues to guide our engineering: start with the task, understand the operating environment and develop the technology around it.
From propulsion to practical marine systems.
EP1 is our propulsion foundation. OmniBot is our own application of that technology, bringing it into the working environment that inspired it.
OmniBot underwater robotics
OmniBot is our remotely operated robot for underwater inspection and surface cleaning. It swims between work locations and uses propulsion-based attachment and tracks to move along submerged surfaces, including non-magnetic structures.
